Lacryma Christi is a typical wine from Campania produced with autochthonous grapes from Vesuvius area.
The name Lacryma Christi has its roots in ancient legends.
The most common is that Lucifer, in his descent into the underworld, has taken away with him a piece of Paradise.
Jesus, recognizing in the Gulf of Naples the stolen Paradise, cried copious tears and from his tears were born the vineyards of Lacryma Christi.

Caratteristiche organolettiche
Very complex on the nose, it has evident spicy notes of licorice, hay and light hints of violet. Predominant are the hints of volcanic soil. Of excellent persistence, velvety and well structured, fresh and characterized by olfactory sensations.
Abbinamenti
Indicated on roasts and noble poultry, spicy cheeses, it goes very well with meat sauces and above all with the famous Neapolitan ragù.
